Denver CO Immersive Education Club Re-creates Historic fort using Minecraft

A new and upcoming Immersive Education club within LaHunta High School, is recreating a local monument using Minecraft. A group of about 20 or so students of all ages are working together to replicate this historic national monument. People from all over the world will be able to tour the interior, exterior, and all around the virtual model. A person from Japan could walk all around inside the walls, and experience what it's like to be there in LaHunta.

This is a perfect mixing of History and technology says the instructor Meagan Hotchkiss-Trejo. "As far as history and technology, this is the perfect program to be in". All of the children are excited to be working on the project and using Minecraft. After they finish up with Minecraft, they will be moving on to the more difficult Autocad software.
